If you are what you eat then I’m at least a gallons worth of alien goo and gore. GWAR killed it (and a few people per usual), Brujeria impressed with a proud and loud powerhouse of a set, BRAT had us moving like dancing queens, and The Native Howl was able to score some new fans with their unique Thrash-grass sound.

I first saw these guys in May 2014 at the now defunct Carolina Rebellion. I remember being absolutely floored at their raw talent, their energy, their stage presence … everything about their set left every hair on my body standing up in awe.

Mail day! After losing a family member this weekend this was a beautiful reminder of how to look at hard times. I also got to see my good friend Dan while he was close by for a WWP speaking gig so it was a double dose of love and smiles today. I have an interview this week so the courage boost is a blessing…. Nearing the end of this job (finally!) and it’s game day (good luck 😉) so I’m determined to make the best of today despite it being mom’s death anniversary and having to complete the last 2 weeks of working here.
