The Ritz has been a staple of the Raleigh music scene for decades, and continues to draw strong acts season after season. With constant events like Emo nights and 80’s nights, as well as a steady flow of national acts, there is almost always something worth checking out on their calendar.
Raleigh’s most storied music venue, housing Lollapaloozas, Mayhem Fests, Ozzfests, Warped Tours, and countless other acts and events. It has a smooth and well-sized pit area at the stage, but most of the time you’ll find the real party out on the lawn.
The Charlotte Metro Area
The Rooster is a staple of live music in downtown Gastonia, NC. With multiple shows a week often featuring the best up-and-coming local and regional talent, they are also home to several amazing annual charity and concert events such as The Roosterlympics and Brewstock. Monthly, they host an event known as the Misfit Market featuring crafts and products from local artisans and craftsmen. And if you happen to enjoy the occasional craft beer, they almost always have a cold bottle of Cock-a-Doodle Brew waiting for you.
